Here's an extremely boring thing I created in an hour and a half.
It was suppose to be my OC Larken, but I started hating the lineart and sort of gave up. So I made a green dragon instead. It turned into an excuse to play with color, lighting and textures (and failing miserably at all three)
I love the way you featured his face/snout. He reminds me of a little elf or a sprite with that toothy mischeiveous grin. I stink at lighting but meh I guess I never had a proper guiding... I actually disagree about adding other colors-While a varied lighting is cool and adds texture monochromatic schemes are extremely hard to accomplish (atleast to me). You have such little color to work with that it can look flat and dull if your not careful-But you did a wonderful job with the varying greens. Great work!
I certainly enjoy the use of other colors in with the green (such as the oranges and blues) - it adds a lot more depth than just a monochrome scheme : D Keep up the great work!
