[Warning, Long Picture is Long]

Here's a simple walkthrough of how I go about creating MadWillow! Not much of a tutorial, since there are literally hundreds of things I could talk about, but I hope it's useful anyway.

ALSO before you comment please note:
- This is MY process. Don't like or disagree with the way I do things? Too bad. I do things my way, and you are welcome to do things your way.
-I may or may not create more tutorials. There are literally hundreds of others explaining how to color/draw/paint etc, so I encourage you to explore those as well. I highly suggest developing your own style too! :]

[edit] and I just realized I spelled my own name wrong in the signature. *sigh* I've got to stop doing things so late at night x_x

I love walk-throughs they really give you insight to the difficulty of the comic. :) Thanks for sharing!

Haha, Abephee!

But in all seriousness, this was a great walkthrough and even though it isn't a tutorial, so to speak, it's nice for other artists to see the basic steps of what you do so they can learn too.

Hehe, this is actually rather similar to my general path to completion. Curious, though, since you say you use a rather small brush size on average, what resolution do you usually work with? I tend to use a 4-6px brush at 400 ppi.

how long does it usually take you to just color a picture (line art not included)? I sketch crazy fast, but I feel like color takes me forever and I'm never happy w/ it. BTW thanks for this tut, I think it might help ^_^

lineart takes me 2 min to color XD

flats and shading take me forever. I haven't actually timed myself, because I usually do it over several days. atleast 6+ hours.
